School Leadership

Dr. Katrina Cruz is the Founder and Head of School of Trinity Institute. She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and brings nearly two decades of experience in traditional public education. Throughout her career, Dr. Cruz has served students and families in many impactful roles, including school counseling, school administration, and central office leadership. Her passion for advocating for children began early in life and has remained at the heart of her professional and personal journey. Before entering the field of education, Dr. Cruz earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Toledo and served as a trauma-based therapist for children and young adults. This background shaped her deep commitment to supporting the whole child — academically, emotionally, socially, and developmentally.“Serving children is my life’s mission. Through counseling and education, I can fulfill that mission by equipping the whole child with the tools, confidence, and support needed to thrive.”
